2004 Honda Accord EX review from Mexico
"Sedan to take everywhere if you want peace of mind"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing at all, I just don't like the anemic air conditioner, compared to, let's say, a Volkswagen.
General comments?
The car is excellent when it comes to reliability, since there was one time (when I did not know better what a car could and could NOT do) when there was a water pool made by a storm and I really had to get home. I got my Accord into the water and before I noticed I was diving in 40" of it!!! I drove about 150 ft in that situation, and the only problem the car got was some electric parts burned out (nothing expensive). No water in the cabin, no major concerns. It was after that that I learned that all- terrain SUV's were the only vehicles recommended for such an endeavor.
Also, the car is very comfortable and roomy on the inside.
The torque I get from the 4 cylinder V-TEC motor is impressive, although not yet as good as a fine V6.
Gas mileage OK.
The assembling is superb, since there is absolutely no rattling when driving in harsh terrain.
Highly satisfied and impressed.
