2000 Honda Accord EX V6 Cpe review from North America
"At best, the coupe is a compromise without much substance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The front-left quarter panel was misaligned. I missed it when I originally took ownership.
The O2 sensor failed at 51.2k miles.
The alternator and EGR valve were busted at 59k w/i 1 week of each other. This episode cost me ~$700.
The paint chipped all over the hood and bumper even though I live in a temperate zone with minimal road debris even in the winter.
General comments?
There are very few manufacturers in this price range that can compete with Honda ergonomics.
However, before I forgo the 2 rear doors in my next car, I must have more performance than the lackluster 200 horses.
For an engine that averages only ~21 miles/gallon, the mere 200hp just does not cut it.
