"Great drive with all the creature comforts"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The electric mirror control from the driver side needed replacement at 13,000 miles - done under warranty with very good customer service.
Reverse gear sticks when changing from 1st, dealer said that this is a design issue and that you need to release the clutch before hitting reverse from another gear... can get a little annoying when parking quickly.
I've noticed a humming noise from the engine on cold starts, it's difficult to show to the dealer, but goes when warm.
General comments?
This is a fabulous family car, great in town and on long journies. 100% reliable and very comfortable. The 2 litre engine is very responsive, and you get rev to 8000 if you fancy pushing it... and boy does it go!!
Great value for money, although the dealer services are unnecessarily higher than they should be, although still much better than the German counterparts.
