1985 Honda Accord review from North America
"Reliable vehicle for a long time"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Hey, it's 15 years old:
Fuel pump.
New clutch (twice).
Power steering.
Air conditioner compressor.
Radiator.
Fuel line leak.
Exterior poor after many years.
General comments?
It's only a 4 cylinder but because of the light weight of the car, with 5 speed manual, it always drives sporty for me.
With my low mileage, I believe the engine, now well maintained by an independent "Honda only" shop, will last a long time. It has leaks, but it's not bad for its age.
Exterior and the interior show their age. Still like that styling; Accords of that era are smallish for today's tastes.
