2004 Honda Accord LX review from North America

There is a few minor things that have gone wrong, first the brake pads were on recall and so was the front air bags, and second the transmition was skipping out of gears. The car that I traded in before my 04 Accord was an 03 Accord, it had the same things wrong with it. The dealer did not want to fix the brakes and put new rotors and pads on, I did not know about the recall until a service teck told me it might be the bad pads that were put on the car at the factory. when I heard about the bad pads they told me to wait about three weeks so the pads were on back order from the factory to fix the problem that they weren't going to tell me about. And also about the air bags not deploying when an accident happend, I asked them to please fix the safety items on the car and they did. It took three weeks of calling around other dealerships to get the public's attention about the recalls and they put out a fliers two weeks later. I just got one of the first cars to have bad safety features on it. But other than that it happend to my 04 accord, and I now know what to do.

The Honda Accord is a great car and is good on gas with the gas prices the way they are now, I would like to see better safety quality on these new cars since they are made from material such as soda cans. Better braking and handling system could be improved. The resale on the Hondas are great. You get a lot for the price of the Honda Accord and the style is not too bad. When the 03 Accord came out I had to have it and now that's all I see when it's a Honda car, and I traded it in for the 04 Accord lx. My only regret for doing that is I should of gotten the Accord ex. You still get a lot for the price. I have my eye on the Honda truck, that may be a whole other story.
