1984 Honda Accord LX Hatchback review from North America
"It's a car that can hold its own and can get you there quickly, comfortably and very, very cheaply"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Steering column ignition switch shorted out at 195000.
Cylinder head gasket leaked when I bought it.
Driver side door lock switch (inside) broken when I bought it.
Rust beginning to show more and more.
General comments?
The car purrs like a cat.
The seats are comfortable for medium distance rides, but not for 4 hour non-stop trips.
It can haul almost anything and I have.
It doesn't pull away at a stoplight, but 35 miles per gallon with the A/C on makes up for it.
Commuting and parking is a breeze.
With gas a $3/gallon, my bill still doesn't cross $30 dollars and I can go 500+ miles.
