1991 Honda Accord EX review from North America
"Simply put... I love this car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front Left C/V joint had to be replaced.
Radiator sprung a leak around 125,000 miles.
Battery died.
For some reason seat belt warning light has started beeping and will not seem to clear. About a week after my mechanic said a $300 sensor needed to be replaced, it quit happening. (Oh well, that's $300 I won't have to spend.)
General comments?
I love this car. If it would ever die, I will go straight back for another Accord.
3 of the 4 of the aforementioned problems are all things that you will have to do eventually anyway.
Other than that, I have only performed routine maintenance; oil changes, belts, etc.
It is a very quick car great on gas. It beats the EPA estimates by about 4 MPG average.
I have put over 50,000 miles on it in less than 18 months and the Accord has not let me down once. It can be worked hard or babied. No matter what, it is one of the most reliable vehicles you will ever drive.
