The transmission went out at 74000 miles due to a manufacturing defect that Honda acknowledges, but make the consumer pay for.

I couldn't agree with you more. However, the newly redesigned model is simply fantastic to drive.
The newly redesigned model that is fantastic to drive is not much comfort to those of us that have experienced complete transmission failure and have had to pay over $3000 on a new transmission because of a defective and faulty transmission that affected the entire generation. Because of this situation, Honda has lost a customer forever and customer loyalty is gone from the Honday brand.
