1987 Honda Accord dx review from North America
"Honda is the best"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter intermittently cranks slow since purchaced.
Fuel gauge drops slightly when stopping, rises again when idling or accelerating.
General comments?
I've always been a fan of Hondas, and am not sure what possessed me to buy a Toyota for my previous car, it was nothing, but trouble. Finally sold it and purchased this car a 1987 Accord hatchback dx, with only minor cosmetic work needed to be in showroom condition. Car handles excellent and has more than adequate power for acceleration, and since I mostly drive freeway miles it gets excellent fuel economy. Only complaints are there's nothing to complain about except this car has few options (not needed in my case I'm just used to loaded cars as every car I've owned before this was fully optioned. I very heartily recommend this car for anyone interested in a fun to drive, fuel efficient, and inexpensive car.
