1990 Honda Accord DX review from North America
"Great little car, which is why everyone wants to steal it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bought with rust on hood, and a little along doors.
Fuel pump at 150,000 (about 300$ to fix)
Hole in exhaust system near muffler at 145,000 (about 100$ to fix)
Drivers side window off the track around 145,000 (fixable without money)
Alternator at 155,000 (about 300$ to fix)
Starter is going bad, but has not yet failed.
Speedometer and odometer stopped working at 155,000.
Has been stolen, and broken into on several occasions.
General comments?
This is a great little first car. Things will go wrong with it, but I've never been stranded.
Seats are fairly comfortable, although they start to squeak after a while.
Unfortunately, this car is VERY steal-able. Mine has been stolen once, and the CD player was taken out. I beg you to keep this in mind when purchasing one.
These cars are fairly light, and are just a little loopy in the rain. Make sure you have some good WET tires on yours.
