1990 Honda Accord LX review from North America
"Reliable little Champion!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump gave out at 320,000.
Radiator Hoses started leaking at 340,000.
General comments?
Incredible reliability! I have spend less than $2,000 on this car with over 341k miles on it over the course of 3 years. The exterior and interior are in great shape, and I keep thinking that this car has to break sometime, but it just keeps on going. And it runs strong too, I can go up a steep freeway on-ramp and easily get it up to 70mph and it doesn't feel like the car is working too hard. The engine is smooth and powerful for being a little 4 banger!

| Out of six Hondas I have owned, this has been a lemon and I advise to avoid automatic transmissions! |
| 1989 - Accord LX-i 2.0 liter, Fuel Injected (122 bhp model) OK commuter choice, but not great |
