325,000 miles and still going strong!
Very few things needed to be fixed over last 16 years.
GREAT gas mileage!
I got a 1990 Accord and about 95,000 miles on it. Runs great, it gets me here to Long Island everyday no with problems. I love my Accord.
Okay, not much of a statement for Honda's biggest fan? There must be more to this story than what you provided?
Very few things for my 1994 with 234K. Has had clutch slave cylinder, muffler replaced, and tune ups; timing belts of course. I think that is all maintenance -- the clutch cylinder gets a lot of use, especially if you don't know how to use the clutch too much.
I have one gem too, it has 280k miles and still runs efficiently with 34 mpg on the highway.
Dang man, I'm about to get one, it has 101k on it, you think it will last a long time?
With any engine with gaskets it will probably need new ones because they are old and brittle. Just as much as one with 300,000 miles. The cooling system should be overhauled too to make sure nothing overheats. If transmission fluid has never been changed, do not replace it as it will screw up the system.
