2000 Honda Accord EX V6 review from North America
"It's reliable if you're lucky"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
SRS airbag sensor is bad.
Major engine problem.
Altenator went bad.
Dash light isn't working.
CD player doesn't work.
General comments?
Well, I had a 96 Accord before this car, and it was great, nothing was wrong with. So after that one hit 150k, I decided to move to the V6 model for the extra features.
I bought the V6 model - it had 75k and by the time it had 100k, the SRS sensor went bad, which I have to pay $1000 to fix. Also my cylinder head got burned from normal driving, so I had to pay $2000 to fix, and now it has 150k and I am worried that this car might have more problems.
I am done with Honda cars. Now I am thinking of moving to a Lexus - they are more comfortable and I personally think more reliable. It's worth the money.
