1997 Honda Accord SE review from North America
"A little beat up, but a bargain by far"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing yet. It needs tires (normal) and possibly brakes.
Car has to be started in N, won't turn over in D. Why I don't know.
General comments?
This my girlfriends car. We got her red accord coupe at a junk yard for $3200, its perfectly good mechanically. It has a dent on the side and the rear bumpers kinda pushed in so the you gotta slam the trunk for it to close. The inside is a little beat up, but not horrible, we cleaned it out real good and the stale smoke smell is gone.
It has a salvaged title that's why it was so cheap. For what it is she got a steal.
We got it to replace her 96 Civic which had over 150K on it and was starting to develop problems.
She got a steal for 3200$. I recently paid $6,000 for my 95 Accord EX.
