1995 Honda Civic DX Coupe review from North America
"Winter beater turned daily driver!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced muffler. That's it.
General comments?
This car was originally purchased as a winter beater. A year later, I've gotten rid of my daily driver and am using this every day.
Not to sound like a broken record but the engine really is absolutely bulletproof. No, it's not going leave other cars in the dust when the light turns green, but the engine revs very willingly and the car is very nimble. Great in the city and on the highway alike.
If I have to nit-pick at some negatives, I'd say the engine can get a little noisy in the upper RPMs. I chose the DX model since I wanted a simple no-hassles car. The less features, the less there is to break. The only additional non-DX feature I have is A/C, however now I wish I had power steering too!
