1994 Honda Civic ESi review from UK and Ireland
"Economical car, with some fire under the hood if needed!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced two engine mountings.
Replace exhaust centre pipe and also the back box.
Was idling erratically when I got it, but I solved it after some research!
General comments?
Very reliable car with good performance when the engine is pushed hard, which is what it seems to be built for.
Not as quick as its DOHC counterpart, but this car will stay with any GTI.
The engine is in great condition, i.e. not burning any oil, which surprised me as I expected it burn a little. Like other reviewers, I would urge people to serviced their Honda regularly (especially oil change).
Finally this car is very economical when driven sparingly!
