1995 Honda Civic EX review from North America
"Buy a Honda, it will last forever!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced master cylinder (only about $150 and apparently is a common problem with civics)
Normal wear and tear things such as brakes, tires, oil changes.
The air compressor locked up... but who really NEEDS air that badly?
Only other problem is that sometimes the car won't shift out of gear because there is something wrong with the brake fuses... the car thinks it doesn't have brakes so as a safety feature it refuses to shift. this has been a SMALL problem though.
General comments?
I bought this car about three and half years ago and have put hardly any money into it. At almost 140k it is still going strong. it gets hot in the summer because of the lack of air, but other than that this is the most reliable car I have ever owned. All of my friends swear by Hondas and I will never buy anything, but one... unless I can somehow afford a Lexus!
