What things have gone wrong with the car?
The driver side window starts acting up. Gets stuck half way and just keeps going up and down in that area. Doesn't happen always, but on rare occasions like when the car is washed and the window rubber is a bit sticky. Honda ppl couldn't fix it till now. I think they have no idea what is wrong either... they will try tochange the whole door eventually.
Second Downside is overall handling at high speeds. Turning on a slightly bumpy road makes the car wobble a bit too much for comfort and you experience under-steer or over-steer depending which way the car is going. Makes you feel pretty unsafe. But apart from that isn't much of an issue.
One change would be welcome is the re-positioning of the Hand-brake lever. Ur knee gets a bit restless when driving and hitting/resting against the lever.
Some noise in the dashboard of a loose wire hitting the inside is pretty irritating on rough roads, but then again... its local... you don't expect perfection and moreover you can't do anything about it either. Well yes stop buying these cars, but... what choice do you have... lol.
General comments?
Overall an excellent car to drive. Superb automatic transmission. Excellent pick up and brakes. Not a street racer as the suspenssion needs to be better tuned for our pakistani road and turns specially considering it's a fast car.
Is quick at any point, but not the best when it comes to road handling. A Suzuki Mehran has a more secure (fast) turn then the civic. IMHO. (yes i own a Mehran also which i drive soley for pleasure driving, one of the best and the worst cars ever ;)
Cabin is excelent . Perfect sound system. Great trim. Perfect lighting. I would say is definetly a good car. But to be honest not worth the price tag. U would expect something more perfect then this.
Price apart, still is a joy to drive and probably one of the best interiors in the local market todate.
