Problem with transmission, shifting into third gear.
Starter skips.
Trunk won't open.
There was a recall for a wheel related issue.
Had a ripped shifter boot.
Huge scratch on delivery, probably dealers fault.
I love how the car performs, despite all the issues.
I think my car is defective.
The problem with the 3rd gear is probably the 3rd gear synchromesh. Check the "Lemon Laws" of your state. If it's a Lemon, Honda by law will have to buy it back at original purchase price or give you a new car of equivalent value.
The logic of import fans always amuses me. The transmission is bad (a Honda trademark, by the way) and the reviewer "loves" the car. I never had that feeling about the one (and thankfully ONLY) Civic I ever had the displeasure of having to put up with. I hated it after it started falling apart (right after delivery) and could never, ever say I "loved" it.
