1995 Honda Civic EX review from North America
"Great car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I bought it, it needed...
Rear suspension boots ($350)
New shocks ($500 in all)
Redid a few miscellaneous things (tires and things)
General comments?
I bought this car for 4000 and the car needed about 1500 of work. That's a little more than Blue Book, but the original white paint is absolutely pristine - the woman who had owned it took insanely good care of it (160k miles... and the original clutch is still good, but bad just because who knows when it's gonna go,) no transmission problems.
Has some older momo rims. The car was lowered with einbach springs and tien shocks. It handled crazy good, but the ride was just too much.
It has its original interior in absolutely perfect condition. It has the original floor mats (which were so old that they were discolored from sun.)
The vtec has only 125 hp and 130 lb ft of torque, but it does 0-60 in the mid 8 second range. That's quick, but it's a small car and it feels fast!
