1987 Honda Civic DX Hatchback review from North America
"Reliable when the parts are all working"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first bought the Civic, it was horrible. The car had bad bearings and a sticky transmission. Now the tie rods on the car are pretty shoddy, the car often pulls hard to the right when driving faster than 50 mph. But the whole point for me was to attain the car for the shell. I was planning to put a ZC motor and a turbo kit on it. Raising the HP from a muscular 95 to a not bad 210 HP.
General comments?
Parts on this car are pretty cheap. Almost every part is attainable through the junk yard at almost 70% cheaper than at a Honda dealership.
