2001 Honda Civic SE Executive review from UK and Ireland

Absolutely nothing.

The new Civic is a masterpiece, well done Honda. We have the 5 door 1.6 SE Executive which comes with a few extra pieces such as: Heated leather seats, climate control, sunroof, alloy wheels etc.

The car is an absolute joy to drive, it loves all road from motorways to country lanes or B roads, it takes them all in its stride, The steering felt rather light to begin with, but you get used to it after a while as you do with the dash mounted gear selector.

The car has been very well thought out, inside the floor is completely flat which enables easy access to the back from the front seats if and when required, and the seats are really comfortable (no wonder it has won the Whatcar Comfort award two years running, and the general build quality of the car is once again superb and up to Honda's usual standard (well screwed together and small panel gaps).

The only downside to the new car is that thanks to its design you get slightly more tyre rumble than in the old model and a little more work on the refinement wouldn't go a miss, but those are our only complaints.

Some people don't like the design of the car, but personally I don't think that it is all that different to the Ford Focus or the Toyota Corolla.
