1989 Honda Civic Standard Sedan review from Australia and New Zealand
"Good for NZ$2700"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rust was a hidden problem until bubbles appeared in the paint.
Not a luxurious model (no central, A/C, electrics).
Seals of front windows leaked.
Transmission a bit worn.
General comments?
I had an accident with a 1990 Mazda Capella Wagon going at 50+kph. My vehicle was static before the collision. Both cars were written off. It was head on.
Neither me nor the passenger were injured, only slight back pain. The bonnet crumpled well, seatbelts restrained well. The bedy held its form. Thus undoubtedly a moderately to superiorly safe car. You decide.
