1992 Honda Civic Vti review from Portugal
"A Powerful way to transport 4 persons.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Someone tried to steal it and the door lock was damaged.
Some noises on the doors after you pass 140km/h.
The front disk brakes was wobling (is that the word?-if not, sorry, I am portuguese...) and needed to be replaced, so I did. Still happening that when I brake after 150 km/h the car shakes a lot...
There still some needs of certain rubbers on suspension sistem and steering.
Several times, especially when I am stopped in an hill, the brake pedal starts to sink until he hits the bottom (but stills braking.
General comments?
Don't start to think that the car isn't reliable, my honda "problem" is it's age, and with 10 years rolling, everybody tells me that he is very well...
The engine... I don't have words for it... seems like a motorcycle... always wanting more rev, and when finaly it cuts, you realize that it is only for safety of the engine, otherwise I don't know when would it stops... You don't feel like in other cars I knewed... that it lacks power and then cuts... in vti you feel a big push in the back and then suddenly... it cuts...Hummm adrenalin. I love it...
Handling is good when you get used to it, and the car can be very efficient when you are in a hurry between A and B...
Comfort? Enought... I am young :)

Show me a Fast,Reliable and economical car for the price you have a Vti, and then I will think about it...
100Hp each 1000 c. c. to a non turbo its also something that not too much car builders can say they make...
