1999 Honda Civic DX Hatch review from North America
"An economy car in need of improvements"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The oxygen sensor had turned on the check engine light twice before being replaced, and one time with the new oxygen sensor installed.
The body panels dent with ease.
A great amount of wind noise at highway speed.
General comments?
The car performs well for an economy car.
It handles well and feels very stable at speeds up to 100mph, and will cruise at that speed all day.
However the seats will begin to hurt your back after 2 hours.
The hatch offers great versatility and will allow you to carry almost as much as a small van.
Unfortunately the road noise becomes more intrusive with the seats folded and the parcel shelf removed.
