1988 Honda Civic Shuttle 1.5i review from Slovakia
"Very good tip for a long life"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My alternator got frozen and became irreparable also after frost has.
It rusted on the bottom.
I had to replace all bearings and front suspension driveshafts.
It loses oil from the engine.
My rear suspension rusted totally and broke by driving.
I replaced my radiator, after losing cooling water because they have broken it at the dealer's service and haven't said me anything about this.
Sometimes my engine stops recently after being started.
General comments?
I have had very many problems with this car, but I must say this was (and still is) the best one, it never lets me stopped on the highway. I've driven it for long distances (1500km from Slovakia to Germany), also in the city as well, it has never something happened (after replacing my rear suspension frame, by the way).
The driver's seat is after 1000 km driving without pause very uncomfortable and hard.
But the experience of driving it is very good, you have enough sight, and I very like steering and gearbox of it, they are really great!
The Honda Shuttle is a Civic - Kombi, but you find lesser room for your baggage as experienced.
