1988 Honda Civic Hatchback review from Finland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Original camshaft bearing was replaced by the dealer because the camshaft was turning inside the bearing (1990). Unfortunately, a bearing which was supposed to transport oil to the camshaft was exchanged with a non-oil transporting.... Motor broke after 115.000 km when the waterpump stopped turning (Why? I don't know...)
Starts rusting near the rear wheel, where the car lifter (right word?) touches - from the inside!
General comments?
Very reliable car also at -25 deg. Celsius. Low petrol consumption.
Worth the money !
