2001 Honda Civic DX review from North America
"Practical Reliable Economy Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front struts have been replaced 3 times as of this month. The 1st at 24,000 Kilometres, the 2nd at 48,000 and this upcoming month at 63,000.
The clutch had also been squeaking horribly since the 2nd month I had it, after 2 years of lubing it excessively I finally found a dealership who would put the effort into replacing it at 48,000 Kilometres.
Factory tires will only last 75,000 at maximum. I suggesting upgrading the Michelin Harmony's.
Factory tires will only l.
General comments?
This car has been a solid purchase. It handles nicely and has just enough power - for a 1.7 - can't complain. It's a quiet ride. Great roomy interior with the 'hump' on the floor in the back removed its excellent for leg room.
