1991 Honda Civic ivt review from UK and Ireland
"Ballistic missile"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since I've owned the car I've replaces the valve stem oil seals, the plug ring seals, the VTEC valve seal, both outer CV-joints. But these are the only parts I have replaced because they have broken, the rest of the parts I changed were through choice!!!
General comments?
The best car I have ever had, and will ever have. This car was built by Honda to prove their B16A engine and that it did, Even after 12 years of use it still drives like a new car. When I race it people see it's a 1600 and thinks its nothing, but packing 170bhp (standard) and having massive rev range (9000rpm) it leaves a few people shocked! All I can say is very fun car very reliable and easy to modify!!!
Mine currently boasts 190bhp +75hp nos
and its great!!!
