1994 Honda Civic DX Hatchback review from North America
"An excellent value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear windshield wiper doesn't operate very well.
Timing belt replaced at 100,000 miles.
Spring-loaders for trunk both stripped at around 109,000 miles. Cost $15 to replace.
General comments?
My Civic has been great for me in the time I have had it. Very reliable.
Interior and exterior are both still in immaculate condition.
As a high school student with a minimum-wage job, I am relieved that the insurance costs and maintenance costs for this car are so low.
Gets 38 miles to the gallon, and handles great.
A very basic, no-frills car - no power features or air-conditioning.
It would be a great commuter car or an excellent first car.
