1999 Honda Civic Coupe iLS review from UK and Ireland

Nothing other than the front wheel alignment keeps on changing.

Wow, a very reliable and capable car. This is just about the best car I have owned. The only other cars that I have owned that come near are Honda Accord and Mazda323F.

I bought this car 5 months ago and driven over 6000 miles in it. In that time I have not once regretted buying it, although I am now looking to change it due to the fact that I need a hatchback or estate, (I am really going to miss this car). I will probably buy a civic aerodeck.

Some professional reviews refer to civics as old mens cars, how wrong could they be. The 2 door coupe 1.6 sohc in milano red with facory spoiler looks very sporty and the performance is very good aswell.

One of the many great things about this car is that the 5 speed transmission is perfectly matched to the power of the engine throughout the rev range, giving you plenty of torque for overtaking without having to change down too many gears.

Interior is put together very well although it looks a bit bland. the seats are reasonably comfortable although I have still not found a position that allows me to be sat in a suitable position to be able to operate the pedals and steering wheel in a comfortable manner.

Standard spec is very good. Air con, electric windows, sunroof and mirrors, 2 x Airbags and power steering.

I love this car. So does my 10 year old son (big fan of the fast and the furious films which feature civic coupes).
