1989 Honda Civic DX review from North America
"It's great on fuel and is fun to drive bought and paid for"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have an 89 civic with 220k on the engine.
The fuel pump, distributor and catalytic converter were replaced.
The car runs and doesn't burn oil, yet.
But it lacks in horsepower with a clean air filter.
When you press the gas pedal to the floor the engine bogs and sputters.
Would you have any explanation of why the lack of horsepower?
General comments?
It always starts, but lacks power.
Everything else works so I don't know if I should get rid of it.
Please email me if you know what it is.
