The gearbox is changed twice, but still there is a problem with it and the gearbox is not changing the gears very well especially in gear 1 & 2, the AC was not working when I bought the car and I repair it once again I got the same problem.
The seats are not really comfortable like BMW or Chevy, but if you compare it with same level cars this one got the best seats, the radiator and engine is excellent when ever and how many kilometer that I'm riding the car the temp is not heating and that really great,
the car shape and design is still likely and not showing like its for 11 years before,
the handling of the car is also one of the main positive points for this car that the car control is 100% with you, totally I'm happy with this car and when I buy a jeep I don't know how to sell this one,
My brother has a 93 Civic CX hatchback with 486000 kilometers. It's still running and still drives quite well, but it's time is near, if you catch my drift. The body is excessively rusted, beyond the point of repair. The motor has developed a steady miss at idle, and all through the RPM range. The tranny is weak and grinds going into gear sometimes, synchros make noise when it's in neutral and it's quite hard to get into reverse and the clutch is nearly worn out. Rear suspension is sagging, and the exhaust from the catalytic converter back to the muffler needs replacing. He paid $1300 Cdn for it 2 and a half years ago and he's certainly gotten his money's worth out of it. In the time he's owned it, he's put roughly 120,000 kms on it. It's lost a bit of get-up-and-go in that that time, acceleration up to highway speed seems to be off a bunch. There are still some good parts on the car yet. The entire front end is still nice and tight, axles including CV joints are fine and all the brake hardware is still in good shape. He's planning on buying a 1998 Cavalier Z24 in the hear future, although he's indicated he would like a bigger car, perhaps with 4 doors.
