1998 Honda Civic EX review from North America
"Reliable, a little sporty, efficient. great for general use"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I've only ever replaced brakes and oil.
I'm still at relatively low miles, but it has been completely maintenance free since I got it.
Starting to get little rattles, at about 60,000 of city driving. and the power windows have slowed, I think.
General comments?
It feel just sporty enough, especially as you get into the higher rpms.
The body style actually has stayed in fashion surprisingly well. I was looking to upgrade to a bmw, but when we looked at their shapes, there wasn't really much difference to an 8 year old honda.
I never get any of the EPA MPG estimates, this is a long-standing complaint.
