1992 Honda Civic ESI SOHC VTEC review from UK and Ireland
"Fast relible great allrounder for bargin price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing amazinly I bought this car for £250!! quid with loads mot and tax it has done 169000 miles, but runs sweet
steering direct solid still engine pulls strongly, had been looked after loads s/h
does anyone know if theses can have timing out as I realised mines got a bigger distibuter on that the nut doesn't goe through it, can this put timing out?
Does anyone find these civics get very scittish above 85 on dual carrageways or bends as its feel like its going to leave road this could be as tyres are low tread and has standerd wheel/suspention?
Nothing gone wrong apart from need brake pads which is common on this model to change as it eats them pretty quick.
General comments?
- has loads of rust on tailgate and rear arches, but has done 170000 miles with no attention to body repairs
can't get a better car for money, get one revs sweet light controls and fun, but feels unstable above 85 mph is it just mine?
