The slave cylinder is the weak point of the car and has been replaced twice once at 149,000 miles and again at 197,000 miles.
The front lower control arm bushings where replaced at 186,000 miles, and the rear bushing are starting to fail.
The drivers seat Snapped at 189000 miles.
The alternator died at 178,000 and again at 185,00o miles Not the cars fault they put the wrong one in.
The exhaust fell off at 192,000 miles.
The ignition coil fried at 220,000 miles.
The valve guide seals are going bad and the car is burning oil.
General comments?
A bit about me. I am a rather large person 6'3" 280lbs and I drive cars very hard.
The Civic has a solid motor, and great fuel economy 45mpg in city and 50 on the highway the worst mpg I could get out of it is 37mpg.
The car is not fast by any standard, but it is quick, handles like its on rails and is just very fun to drive.
Top speed is electronically limited to 113mph.
The car has plenty of leg room for the front seats, but the back seats are a little cramped.
With the back seats folded down you can put a refrigerator in (with the door off) in the back.
