2007 Honda Civic EX review from North America
"A shockingly sporty and sexy coupe with great fuel economy, it turns heads!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not one single thing. The engine feels like its finally wearing in.
General comments?
This car is great! My requirement for a new car were a sexy reliable coupe with good fuel economy. The dealership treated me really well and she was really patient with me. I did 6 months of research to make sure when I bought a new car it was going to last and meet all my requirements. This web sight helped me to choose the car with the best consumer review. Thank-you everyone!
At first I wanted the Chevy cobalt, but I am so very glad I didn't get it. I wanted it because I wanted a fun sporty car. I thought the civic was boring and a car my mom would drive. WOW was I wrong! This car is so sexy and sporty and original! Not only did I get the look in a car I wanted, but I got a car I know will be reliable! When I went to the chevy dealers they wanted to pressure me into a lease and had all these "offers" to sweeten the deal to make the car cheaper. Honda was strait up with me and although they didn't budge on the price I was assured the mark-up was lower or comparable to the chevy. I test drove both cars 2 different times. When I let the clutch out in the chevy it snagged and chugged and felt choppy, the Honda was smooth and was hard to stall this is (I was told) because Honda has a built if fuel injector that gives the car more gas to prevent stalling (this is what Honda told me).
Amazing fuel economy! I drove from the BC Border through the mountains into Alberta for 4 hours and only used 1/2 a tank. It only costs me 38$ to fill it from empty! YAY!! I love this car, the interior feels luxurious and looks sexy.
I was on the fence when I saw the heads up speedometer. I didn't like the digital aspect, but now I love it. It doesn't get any simpler. I was looking at the jetta and put a picture of the civic steering wheel next to the jetta steering wheel and for 5000$ cheaper the interior was way nicer and more modern and well suited to me.
You will know when you find the right car. Honda was the right one for me. :)
