2003 Honda CR-V LX review from North America
"Spacious for three"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Rear driver door switch stuck in the closed position. You might think "So What". Well when the remote switch is used to open the door, you must open within a certain amount of time or it automatically re-locks. My two year old loved keys so to keep her occupied she had the car keys when we were putting her in the back. We (wife) did not know that the door had relocked after she shut the door. Child now locked inside the car in the car seat. Door eventually unlocked. Cabin light went out and didn't know how to take the cover off to replace it. So the switch was not covered under warranty, but they did give me a free oil change so I think it was all even.
So far nothing has gone wrong. Speakers now not sounding too good, but working.
General comments?
Mechanically sound. Drove cross country with it and got GREAT gas mileage with the air condition on and the cruise contol set at 65mph. Plan on keeping this rig for a long time. Good storage. Seats fold down. Cabin noise is a little loud, but some aftermarket products can fix that.
