2002 Honda CR-V LX review from North America

Front disc was locked and rotor was damaged at 80000 miles.

Rear lift gate light sensor went bad at 45000 miles. The sensor kept flickering. After another 4000-5000 miles, most of the interior lights only works from time to time.

The headlight get burned out quickly during 75000-80000 miles. I changed 3 headlight bulbs with 5000 miles.

Battery all drained for no reason in 4 years. It is a little too quick for battery. Most my car battery last 5-7 years.

A/C compressor went dead at around 90000 miles. The A/C light did not come on for about 500-1000 miles, and it came back on, but no A/C. Checked and found the compressor cannot turn.

Transmission shift was normal until after a recall for a transmission cable rust issue. After that, the shifting to 2 and 1 from D requires the shift lever locate a middle point between the shift before it can shift to 2. I was able to shift to 2 by pushing the lever all the way to the left before the recall.

The engine still runs well. I change oil every 3000-3500 miles. I did all the schedule maintenance, and this is the first time I see so much problems on a car.

I don't know it is my bad luck, or the car. It is my first Honda. I usually have Toyota, and none have this many problems.
