2003 Honda CR-V EX review from North America
"Nimble, Reliable and easy to work on"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel injectors were replaced (under warranty) at 18k miles due too bad gas in Midwest area due to excessive sulfur in gasoline. Affected many folks in our area about 1-1/2 years ago.
One recall for cruise control cable.
General comments?
This is my first Honda. I bought the Helms Service Manual and try to do all maintenance items myself. I run Synthetic oil and change it every 6k miles. It doesn't burn any oil between changes and the oil still has a golden brown look even at 6k miles. Total monies spent in 30k miles has come to $166 for oil, filters, etc..
I bought a 2nd CRV ('03) for the wife and a used ('97) for the kids to drive so now we have 3 of them. At least its easier to work on since I have 3 of them.
