1987 Honda CRX Si review from Australia and New Zealand
"More bang for your buck than a kilo of C4"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing yet, though the clutch cable is a bit worn.
Uses a wee bit of oil (less than a litre every 2000 k's)
General comments?
The most nimble little car out there with enough acceleration to keep even higher specced cars honest.
My particular car has had Koni shocks fitted and harder rear springs which does tend to make the car a bit of a bone jarrer around town, however you forget about your aching back as soon as you get into twisty corner territory.
Strong engine, low weight and balanced chassis make the most fun you can have without getting instant loss of licence when you get spotted.
In my opinion Honda got it right with this car, it's a shame they haven't got anything like it in their current line up.
