1991 Honda CRX review from North America
"Reliable, sporty, and inexpensive to drive or repair BUY ONE NOW!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Distributer burned out after 10,000 miles. Replaced it and never had problem again.
Brakes, Rotors Calipers (twice)
4 sets of tires.
CV joints and boots.
No major problems.
General comments?
I loved this car, and would still be driving it today if I hadn't totaled it. The car was almost ALWAYS reliable. The only issue I ever had was
the Distributer issue, however I think that was more faulty part or install rather then the car. This was my first car, and lasted me all the way until about a month ago. The gas mileage was great. I used to deliver pizza, and could go a whole night on $3.00 gas. The car paid for itself over and over.
I never had a major problem with the car, and would tell anyone to go get one no matter what. My friend owns one that just went past 500,000 miles on the original engine and transmission!
