1989 Honda CRX Si review from North America
"I loved it so much I went back for thirds"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first received the car it had a bad clutch and the rear brakes leaked causing overall stopping power to be virtually none. The total of both repairs however was a relatively low $220. Other than that the car is in absolutely perfect condition.
General comments?
This car is amazingly zippy and never fails me when I need to get around a semi on the freeway. It is virtually unshakable around corners, and loves to be downshifted. THIS CAR LIVES IN THE HIGH REVS!!!
I've put a few aftermarket parts on the vehicle such as a set of coil-overs, an intake, and a set of 17's. Although die-hard CRX fans don't embrace them, I am also planning on attaching a body kit to the vehicle.
This is my third CRX and I still own the last one. I got rid of the first because it was an HF and didn't make the grade in terms of speed.
