1985 Honda CRX Si review from North America
"Go 1st gen crx si people it kicks ass"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Batterie, radiator, alternator, fuel pump, starter, timming was off, blown head, rear struts, right side tie end rod, clutch is slipping, have many oil leaks under car, rust under a lot of the car, rust on back left fender when I would hit a bump it would cut into my tire, no back muffler no ac, no power steering, drivers side window cam off track, passenger side key lock fell out dash rattles, hatch rattles, sun roof came off track.
General comments?
I love this car. it's an si model, it didn't come with ac. I sold my 92 mazda mx3 to fix this one up. I payed 150 dollars for the crx si, its very quick for only weighing under 1800lbs. I put a new head on it and had it port and polished for more hp. I put a cold air intake, and MSD ignition. it's a 5 speed. I haven't made any long trips in it yet. its my daily driver. I do like to take it to the street races. I've won a few races, beat a couple d16a engines. I plan leaving it all stock. getting a rebuilt engine in it. with cam gears, headers, port out the intake manifold, and get a turbo. ill keep this car for awhile. it's an awsome little car.
