"Go 1st gen crx si people it kicks ass"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Batterie, radiator, alternator, fuel pump, starter, timming was off, blown head, rear struts, right side tie end rod, clutch is slipping, have many oil leaks under car, rust under a lot of the car, rust on back left fender when I would hit a bump it would cut into my tire, no back muffler no ac, no power steering, drivers side window cam off track, passenger side key lock fell out dash rattles, hatch rattles, sun roof came off track.

General comments?

I love this car. it's an si model, it didn't come with ac. I sold my 92 mazda mx3 to fix this one up. I payed 150 dollars for the crx si, its very quick for only weighing under 1800lbs. I put a new head on it and had it port and polished for more hp. I put a cold air intake, and MSD ignition. it's a 5 speed. I haven't made any long trips in it yet. its my daily driver. I do like to take it to the street races. I've won a few races, beat a couple d16a engines. I plan leaving it all stock. getting a rebuilt engine in it. with cam gears, headers, port out the intake manifold, and get a turbo. ill keep this car for awhile. it's an awsome little car.

How do you port polish? How much does it cost?

I had a friend port and polish it, I've done a lot more to it since that post, I've now drag port and polished the head and manifold, I didn't the 5 angle valve job, put B20 injectors on it, I got the headers and a adjustable cam gear, I also had my stock cam re-grinded for all around more power. I put a DC short shifter on it, put some racing seats in it with the 4 point harness, painted it black and red, I just recently put a stage 4 dual friction centerforce clutch in it, last week I ordered a new fly wheel cause mines slipping nasty. I'm also about to get a new or just rebuild my transmission. I've got the delsol rims on it. it runs a lot better now. I got another engine straight from japan. and put some high comp pistons in it. I've beat many more cars since the last post.
