1989 Honda CRX HF review from North America
"A mid-performance steal!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I did a few big things to the car right when I bought it like.
Alternator & battery (they went out the first day I had it)
Clutch (regular wear)
Clutch cable (I was pretty rough with it the first few months)
Seats are worthless (and I'm not a big guy or anything, they're just completely chewed up and not comfortable at all)
General comments?
This is an amazing car, it gets almost 40mpg, when things go bad, you usually get a warning (i.e. sounds, smells, difference in feel). I drive many miles and this car just doesn't quit. The accident I got into with this car wasn't that bad, but it did demolish the passenger side, and the car now has a salvaged title, but aside from the occasional wheel scraping it's golden.
