Boot struts have gone (won't hold the heavily weighted boot)
Little bit of wear on the drivers seat- very common- lucky it wasn't ripped!
Literally that's all.
Well were do I start?
This car could cost 3 times as much and I would still buy it.
0-60 in around 7.5-you need to hit the exclusive 8500 red line to reach it!
This car loves the revs.
Like when you feel sorry for it you push into the vtec at 5500 just to please it, and when you do, well...
The noise is outragously addictive when you reach the vtec.
There truly is no over car that can blend this much performance with such amazing economy (50 mpg has been achieved- albeit driving like I was 90!). I had heard the rumor now I know it's fact.
Very cramped in the rear- it's a sports car duh! But the technological advancements that had been made when this car hit the market still puts many modern cars to shame.
Huge boot space with the rear seats folded. You really should hold out for a mint one. Pay top dollar and you won't regret it.
Handling is superb and it is incredibly smooth over say speed bumps.
Reliability is legendary if serviced regularly.
You will feel king of the road in this car. And if you get beat by something like an accord type-r (Just!) then you can always say "Well I gotta little baby 1.6 and you only just beat me"!!
BUY BUY BUY!!!
50 mpg what a joke!
An accord type will not just beat your 1.6 litre 160 bhp crx, it will demolish it, with 213 bhp 2.2 (with the best gearbox and clutch to date in a production car, superfast and smooth shifts)
A type r will demolish the crx! it will not JUST beat it!
Your're living in lala land if you think the crx 160 bhp will outperform the type r's 213 bhp and about 156 lb'ft torque!
Keep dreaming! as everyone know's you are.
Raziel.

I didn't say I beat it in a straight line come on now!
To 60 it was beaten by a few car lengths. The nimble handling of the rex meant I could get through the corners quicker. And plus I race on the pro curcuit so that's an advantage, but regardless of me if the rigth driver is in the car it can compete. Try!
You cannot beat a good old rex type r's are cool too, but the crx just look at it... just the front bumper with the wrap around indicators does it for me... and the VTec... Unbelievable I had a 92 1.6iVT civic... I miss it!!!
OK... so the accord has more ponies and torque. big deal. you guys are forgetting about the simple physics of power to wieght ratio. crx's a quite a bit lighter and far more nimble on a track. if you think you're a king cause a big car is a touch quicker than a little car in a straight line then congrats to you. just hope you don't run into me on the road. peace.

I just got my own 89 CRX DX 1.5 and it is awesome. Yeah, it only has 90hp stock, but remeber that it's only 1800lbs and that investing another $500 into the car will turn it into a beast!
The feel of driving is very real. No power steering and other things that take the pleasure of driving away.
Also remember that it was voted best car when it came out. The CRX line of cars were the first to be equipped with double wishbone suspension.
After 17 years and 180k miles, my car with a stock engine still runs like a top. Yeah the Accord can beat my CRX going straight, but is it as fun to drive, as reliable and easy to fix, and did the Accord make changes when it came out?
All I know is that when my CRX came out, it was able to set standards and pave the way for future sports cars.
There you all go talking about racing 4 cylinder econoboxes. Get a life... or a real sports car... or never speak about any vehicle ever again.
