1995 Honda del Sol Si review from North America
"A reliable, economical, fun open top car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A small rock cracked my windshield. I have had no mechanical problems.
General comments?
In stock form the car under-steers badly. This can be remedied with a rear anti-roll bar.
The engine has a wide power band perfectly suited for the car.
The top works wonderful. It keeps out bad weather 100%. Being metal, it will not be torn like a canvas convertible. It removes and stows very quickly. Once in the trunk, the user is able to lift the roof on a rack for access to the trunk.
The interior is ergonomic and well finished. There are two detriments to the interior. One must sit close in order to push the clutch all the way in, but the accelerator is uncomfortably close in this position. There is a blind spot on the drivers side caused by the sail panel.
