"Green Demon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?

The steering wheel is worn badly.
The clutch wore out at 149,000 miles.
The radiator top blew off at 105,000 miles.
General comments?
I got this vehicle because I loved the Samba green color; I also thought the back window was cool. The exterior of the car is a little different from when I purchased it in 1999. I have since lowered the car 3 inches with coil overs and added a Wings West and Andy's Motorsports body kit combination. I love the look of the car; it looks much better lowered. Del Sols stock or modified definitely attract attention where ever they go.
The ride is a little bouncier since I dropped the car, but it is still very easy to handle.
The interior has also been modified to have yellow (soon to be brushed aluminum) trim. I have added a roll cage that helps keep the car stiff. I love the space; being 6ft I can easily fit into the car and drive it comfortably. I left the stock Ricaro seats because they are very attractive and comfortable.
There is tons of trunk space; even though I have slightly modified that as well. I have added two Kenwood 12 inch speakers and three amps. Two amps putting out 600 watts a piece and the third putting out 300 on its own. The targa top fits nicely in the trunk and even though I have all that equipment back there I can still go to the store and know I have plenty of room to put reasonably sized merchandise.
My engine has been upgraded with an B&M air intake, DC strut bar, Headman header, stage 2 clutch, AEM adjustable cam gear, B&M fuel pressure regulator, 2 1/2inch custom exhaust all topped off with yellow wire loom. The performance has definitley improved and for those of you who are interested this is a fun car to modify. The exhaust makes the car sound mean and I can feel the power roll back as I shift gears. If you shift the car just right the tires will skip in second gear.
Overall I am very pleased with this car. People rarely believe me when I tell them that the car is a 93. Honda did a great job designing the car so it doesn't look like it will be going out of style anytime soon.
