1993 Honda del Sol S review from North America

Normal maintenance on the vehicle.

Drivers side roof leaks when it rains.

Glove compartment hinges busted.

Super glued trunk emblem back on after it was in 120 degree weather in it fell off.

When I got this car in 1994 I immediately fell in love with it.

The Honda Red catches everyones eye.

I love the targa top off with the wind in my hair.

Putting a new sound system in it is no problem at all.

Had it up to 113 mph once. Handled great.

This car has been from coast to coast with no problems at all.

It's been from Mount Rushmore to San Fransisco to Key West to Death Valley and back.

At one point in New Mexico I was getting 39 miles to the gallon. Must have been the climate or something.

I plan on keeping the car and dropping a newer engine in it when it goes.

The paint on the spoiler is starting to go. I don't care it's a good sign for a car that is still going.

The seats and interior is still like new.

Believe it or not I've hauled a 10 gallon tree in this car. I had the top off with the tree sticking out and over the back of the car.

Took my Mom to Florida in it once. She took over driving and drove from Missouri to Louisiana non stop.

I had hub caps for the longest time I finally replaced them with custom alloys.

A lot of things have happened to the car and it still goes.

It was hit from behind at 10 miles an hour a month ago. Didn't even look like it was hit.

A Baseball hit it once. Small dent.

It's got a few door dings. Need I say more. It still takes it.

Almost ran into a truck once. The front end lowered as I was braking. When the car came up it caught a scratch on the front. I have to

point it out to see it.

Honda should have never stopped making these fun cars.

When it's ready I plan on refurbishing this car at some point.

When I retire, you'll still see me driving around in this wonderful Del Sol.
